Alongside the vital support and respite we provide to carers, we also offer a variety of services for members of our community and local organisations.
These services not only benefit those who use them but also help us raise essential funds to continue supporting carers in need.
8,000 copies of our 28 page magazine are distributed to carers, health and social care professionals and numerous organisations throughout Blackpool, 3 times a year.
To support the production of this publication, we allow a small amount of adverts for products or services relevant to our carers.
Our dedicated Footcare Practitioner, Tracy, offers a full Foot Pampering Service either in your own home at a time to suit you, or at our Beaverbrooks House Footcare Clinic on a Thursday.
Our larger than life mascot, Rocco the donkey, loves meeting people and spreading the word about the services available to local unpaid carers.
Blackpool Carers Centre has a variety of rooms and beautiful gardens, which are available to hire at very competitive rates. The rooms vary in size from small meeting/counselling rooms ideal for 2 or 3 people, right up to our Training Room and Cafe which can seat over 40.
Our Zen Den Sensory Room is a stimulating and fun, safe haven, providing a space to relax, reflect and recharge.
The room is equipped with sensory lighting, bubble tube, soft seating, projector screens and a state of the art sound system and is suitable for babies, children and adults alike.
