Counselling
If you’re feeling lonely, isolated, anxious and frustrated, our Counselling service may be for you. Carers registered with us, can access this service free of charge.

Dementia Training
Dementia awareness training is available for people caring for someone with dementia, whether diagnosed or not. Support is available onsite for the person you care for, to enable you to attend.

Family Focus Project
Our Family Focus Project works with families where a parent or carer has substance (drug or alcohol) misuse issues or mental ill health. Our team offer intensive support to all members of the household.

Hospital Support
Our support workers, based at Blackpool Victoria Hospital, offer support as soon as your loved one is admitted through to the time they are discharged, and help you through this process.

One to One Support
Our Young Carers’, Adult Carers’ and Family Focus teams provide appropriate support for each carer based on their level of need, following an informal assessment by our staff.

Our ReFocus Project aims to support adult carers in Blackpool who are affected by a loved one’s problematic substance use, providing them with information around substances, addiction and recovery, time and space to discuss the impact of their caring role and opportunities for respite and peer support.

We have a project dedicated to working with young adult carers (YACs) aged 16 to 25. Their needs may be different to those of other carers, as they may be moving away to study, or need support finding employment or training.
