Blackpool Carers 20th Anniversary Celebration and AGM
This year is extra special for Blackpool Carers Centre…we’re turning 20 years old!
To mark two decades of supporting carers and their families across the town, we’re combining our Annual General Meeting (AGM) with a celebratory Birthday Bash on Friday 28th November 2025, from 2.00–4.00pm at Beaverbrooks House.
The AGM is always a chance to reflect on the past year, celebrate achievements and share our plans for the future. This year, it will also be about looking back at the incredible journey of the Carers Centre since its formation in 2005. From a small local service to becoming the single point of access for more than 12,000 carers, our growth has only been possible because of the passion, resilience and support of the carers, volunteers, staff, trustees, and community who stand with us.
Following the formal business of the AGM, the celebration will truly begin! Expect plenty of cake, refreshments, and the chance to share memories from the past 20 years. We’ll be showcasing stories from carers and staff, looking at how the Centre has evolved, and celebrating all those who have made “A Better Life for Carers” possible.
We’d love for as many people as possible to join us. So, whether you’ve been with us from the very beginning or have only recently connected with our services, we warmly invite you to come along to Beaverbrooks House for an afternoon of reflection, celebration and community and join with us as we reminisce and raise a toast to the next 20 years.
