ABOUT US
Blackpool Carers Centre is an independent, local charity and network partner of Carers Trust. We provide a range of services to support and enhance the lives of unpaid carers of all ages throughout Blackpool and The Fylde Coast.
What is a Carer?
A carer is someone, who without payment provides help and support to a parent, partner, child, relative, friend or neighbour, who could not manage without their help. This could be due to age, physical or mental illness, substance misuse or disability.
Carers Support
There are thousands of carers in the area. Many juggle, work, school, or other commitments along with their caring role, and most don’t think of themselves as carers, nor realise the range of services available to help them.
Blackpool Carers Centre provides emotional and practical support for Adult Carers, Young Adult Carers (aged 16-25) and Young Carers from the age of 5, including additional support from our specialist team for the whole family.
